Sunday at Ham House ~ 10/9/06

Lunched with Graham then as it was such a nice sunny afternoon ... then walked it off with a stroll along the Thames to Ham House. As we are both NT members we waved our cards and were allowed in. (nb there is nothing twee about NT membership, honest ...).

It is an incredible old pile .. mainly 17th Century ... Lovely Hall and stairs. The grounds are pretty impressive too, hence the pic below of me in the walled Kitchen Garden, where Graham and I also stopped for tea and shortbread (okay .. that does actually sound quite twee).

Then walked back along a slighty flooded riverbank .. for a restorative pint in Richmond ..

The London Double Header at Twickenham ~ 7/9/06

I won four free tickets from O2 and carted along Xander, Phil & Scott as pictured below ..

Was a fun afternoon ... London Irish v Harlequins at 2pm then Wasps v Saracens at 4:20pm.

Much beer and jolliness. Lots of people there that we knew and nice to catch up.
